Are you sad you weren’t accepted this quarter into the class “CS183E: Effective Leadership in High Tech”, and want another chance to meet the woman teaching it? Hadn’t heard of the class, but want to meet her anyway? Then come to next week’s CEO Dinner with Mauria Finley: founder and CEO of Citrus Lane (recently acquired), who has also held leadership roles in Netscape, AOL, Good Technology, PayPal and eBay during their early stages.
As a refresher: The CEO Dinner Series hosted by Stanford Tau Beta Pi is a way for members to have a small and personal dinner with leaders of the local tech industry. Candidates earn 10 points by attending, and this is one of the last events to earn points before initiation on the 21st!
We keep the dinner to a small size (usually 10 people) so every attendee can converse with our guest. Don’t let this discourage you from applying- your odds are good, we promise!
