We are excited to annouce next week’s CEO Dinner featuring Eric Migicovsky, CEO of Pebble Technology, the company behind the Pebble smartwatch.
Last year Eric was named Top 35 Innovators Under 35 in 2013. After incubating his idea for the smartwatch in the Y Combinator program, Eric launched a campaign on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. After six days the project had become the most successful Kickstarter project in history, reaching over $4.7 million with 30 days still left in the campaign. Pebble has sold over 275,000 smartwatches, raised more than $10 million from close to 69,000 backers on Kickstarter in 2012 and has received $15 million in Series A funding from venture capital fund Charles River Ventures.
